The Vintage Blue Sterre strap is a rare treasure, born from a 2019 discovery by Sterre Wesselman at van Domburg Textiel in The Hague. Among overlooked fabrics, she found a jacquard so striking it deserved a second life. Named in her honor, the original seven straps sold out instantly, becoming a symbol of Bluebird’s dedication to craftsmanship.

Like a scene from Back to the Future, the design nearly faded from memory—but we rebuilt it thread by thread, matching vintage yarns and redrawing every geometric line. Now part of our Vintage Custom Series, only 33 straps will exist, each numbered. Handmade with minimal sewing, vintage cotton, leather ends, and aged brass, it’s a stunning collectible for every guitarist.
