Bluebird Guitar Straps on Location:
Question: I would like to visit your location to find a strap for my guitar. Is this possible?
Answer: At the moment, we only have a webshop and do not have a physical store to receive visitors. However, we regularly attend exhibitions and events, so you can always experience our straps in person there. A permanent location for visits is something we’re planning for the future.
Payment Methods:
Question: What payment methods do you accept?
Answer: You can easily pay for your Bluebird strap using iDeal, PayPal, or Credit Card.
For our wholesale partners, we also accept direct bank transfer.
Shipping:
Question: My country is not listed in your list of countries where you ship to. Are you able to ship to…?
Answer: Yes, we can! Just let us know your location, and we’ll add your country to the webshop so you can place your order.
Question: How do you ship your straps, and will there be any import fees?
Answer: We ship worldwide using insured mail. You’ll need to sign for your parcel upon delivery, and it’s fully trackable so you can follow it every step of the way. Import or tax fees depend on your country’s customs regulations, as each country has its own policy.
Question: Why has my shipping cost to the USA increased?
Answer: The checkout shipping total now combines insured, signed, track-and-trace delivery and an import tax fee required by U.S. customs. The import fee is collected through the postal system and isn’t paid to Bluebird.
Question: How long will it take to receive my strap order?
Answer: We always try to ship orders the same day or the day after they are placed.
- Within the Netherlands: You usually receive your order within 1-3 working days.
- Outside the Netherlands: Delivery can take up to 10-14 working days, depending on your country and how quickly customs release your parcel.
Please note that international delivery times may vary due to customs processing and local postal services
Return Policy & Warranty

Strap Lock Button:
Question: My acoustic guitar only has one strap button, and I don’t want to drill another hole in the guitar. Do you have a solution for this?
Answer:Yes, we have the Bluebird X-tender for exactly this situation. The X-tender is made of durable leather and easily wraps around the headstock of your guitar (measuring 22 x 2 cm), creating a secure point to attach your Bluebird strap. It also fits perfectly on any standard Bluegrass instrument, such as: Acoustic guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Ukulele.
Compatibility:
Question: Are Bluebird straps compatible with all types of guitars?
Answer: Yes! All Bluebird straps are designed to fit any guitar, whether it’s electric, acoustic, or bass. They also work with other stringed instruments, like banjos, mandolins, and ukuleles—especially when paired with our Bluebird X-tender if needed.
For instruments with smaller strap buttons, we also offer Bluebird Strap Blox to keep your instrument secure and prevent slipping.
Wholesale / Bulk Orders
Question: We are interested in stocking Bluebird Straps in our store. Do you offer wholesale discounts, and how does this work?
Answer: Yes! We offer wholesale opportunities worldwide. The best way to get started is to send us an email, and we can discuss terms, conditions, and options tailored to your store.
Endorsement Deals
Question: I’m an aspiring influencer on social media and interested in promoting Bluebird straps. Do you offer endorsement deals?
Answer: Yes! We have a great community of artists and enthusiasts worldwide. To become part of our endorsement program, the best way is to send us an email with your ideas.
Vintage Back in stock:
Question: Currently one of your vintage (and rare) straps is out of stock. When will it be restocked?
Answer: Our vintage (and rare) straps are made from woven trims from the early ’60s and ’70s, which are no longer produced. When we buy these fabrics, we seldom find them again, so reproductions are very rare. That said, we always keep our eyes open for these trims.
If there is high demand for a particular design, we can also try to create a Vintage Custom strap inspired by it, giving you a unique option while keeping the original spirit of the vintage design.
Different Leather:
Question: I saw a different type of leather on one of your straps. Is it possible to add those to another strap?
Answer: Yes, that is possible, but there are a few conditions:
- Contact us before ordering to discuss available options.
- If we have an unfinished strap (no leather attached) in stock, no extra cost will be charged.
- If we need to remove the currently attached leather, a €5,50 fee will apply.
- Once the change is made, the strap becomes a custom order, and custom order terms will apply.
Available leather types: Black, Dark Brown, Brown, Cognac, Tan Natural, Tan Natural Crocodile printed
Alternative / Vegan Leather:
Question: I’m a vegan. Instead of genuine leather strap ends, can you use other durable vegan leather materials?
Answer: To ensure the quality and durability of our straps, we only use the genuine leather types specified for our products. Vegan “leathers” don’t provide the same lifetime durability, and to keep your instrument safe and secure, we only use 100% Full Grain Leather.
Different Hardware:
Question: Your straps all have brass hardware. Can it be changed to chrome?
Answer: This is not always possible and can only be done under certain conditions:
- Contact us before ordering to discuss options.
- This change can only be made on unfinished straps; stocked straps cannot be altered.
- No extra cost will be applied.
- Once the change is made, the strap becomes a custom order, and custom order terms will apply.
Different Length:
Question: Your strap length is always 2” (5 cm) wide with a maximum length of 58” (1.47 m). Can you make them wider and/or longer?Answer: We cannot make them wider at this time; 2” (5 cm) is the maximum.
For this an un-sewn Jacquards need to be still available, so we can sometimes make straps longer, under the following conditions:
- Contact us before placing your order.
- The jacquard trim of the particular strap must still be available.
- No extra cost—unless you choose a strap from our Vintage Custom series.
- Once the change is made, the strap becomes a custom order, and custom order terms will apply.
Different Backing / Hemp:
Question: Can your straps be made with a different backing material, like hemp?
Answer: At the moment, demand for alternative backing materials is very low, so we do not keep them in stock.
If you plan to order 10 or more straps, we can place a special order for hemp backing. Additional costs may apply depending on the materials used.
