AGED GOLD TONES, WOVEN RADIANCE
Gold and ocher arcs sweep across a pale beige base, separated by leaf-like details and framed by finely woven borders in soft peach and golden tones.

Discovered in Brussels among a group of vintage decorative trims, this New Old Stock cotton jacquard drew attention through its luminous appearance without metallic yarn. Its aged-gold character is created entirely through layers of yellow, ocher and soft peach cotton. The gently raised weave gives the original fabric a rich, tactile finish.

Handcrafted with near-invisible, colour-matched stitching, reflecting Bluebird’s attention to detail.
